You can do design work in R6 with R5 servers running. Just dont use any of the new features that arent on R5. You can also have both clients open at the same time on one PC. Open up your R5 first and the R6 second. I use R5 for testing user IDs and R6 for Development. R6 Administrator also works on R5 servers. The broadcasting feature in R6 is so much better than R5.

You cant make a local copy of a DB from 6 and then use it on 5. But you can do it the other way around. If you have development servers you should be just fine.

We do almost all design work using R6...Will be putting R6 on 2 test servers later this week.
